It was my birthday last week and, as I'm almost as spoilt as Mabel, I was bought this fancy double cat feeding bowl from Alessi by my sister. It's so cute.
So Mabel is now officially a posh little kitty.
She was very curious when I first put it down for her to sniff and she took the opportunity to have a nice sit in it! Not quite the sophisticated, stylish dining I was hoping for but I'm sure once it has food in it she'll work out what it's for.

  1. Your bowl is awesome, what a thoughtful present. Happy birthday to you , and I hope you got lots of Mabel kisses.

As for the wet/dry food. I would prefer to feed Poppy wet or raw food only, but she won't eat raw meat, so we do biscuits in the morning and a fancy feast can at night.

I think most advice seems to tend towards wet/raw diets as cats aren't bred to eat grain products like biscuits, and wet has the same water content as mice/birds they would catch out in the wild. From what I have heard dry food may be the cause of high incidences of renal failure occuring in cats too.

    Good luck

  2. That bowl is fabulous, I've never seen anything like it. Almost too nice to use for cat food. LOL.

    Belated happy birthday!

  3. Holy Mackerel...Mmmm, mackerel! That is THE coolest bowl EFFUR! She is surely a posh kitty! As long as she's not snobby like Posh Spice!

  4. How cute is that? SQUEEEEE!
That Mabel sure is a lucky girl. She even gets a present on YOUR birthday.
Happy birthday- belated. I hope you had a great day.

  5. Happy Belated Birthday Caroline!...That is a very nice bowl and how cool for Mabel to get gifts on your birthday!!...kisses to Mabel...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki

  6. That is such a cool bowl! We are sure Mabel is going to love it!!
