Yesterday was Mabel's first experience of snow. She was outside jumping around in it for hours. She was loving it... until she knocked into a small branch and a lump of it plopped on her little furry head!
She soon dried off after a snooze on my knee in front of the fire.
Hahahaha! Oh, no, we're not laughing at you, Mabel, we swear. That's okay, sweetie, several years ago, back when it was just Annie and Chumley, we had a deep snowfall. Ms. Snow Kitty (Annie) had to go out into our back space, of course, so off she went...and landed in snow over her head. The mom nearly peed herself laughing, watching Annie trying to get out of it. :-P

We can't understand snow, as we've never seen it....the last time it snowed here was in 1985 and that was long before either of us.......xxxxxxxxx
ReplyDeleteMiss Mabel, sounds like fun for a little bit. We don't get snow where we live either, so we wouldn't know what to do, but in the winter I like to be inside nice and warm.

ReplyDeleteExplore the first snow and enjoy as much as you can. I never have that's experience. Because I born in Melbourne, Australia. There never have a snow in winter.
Oh Mabel just looks so cute both in the snow and by the fire getting warm! We don't go outside in the snow at our house - but we think since we have short furs we wouldn't like it much anyway!
ReplyDeleteHi. I found your blog from daisy's place and just wanted to say I was struck by Mabel's beauty. She looks exactly like my Stinky, who unfortunately we lost last month. She lived a wonderful and long life (18 yrs). Mabel is a mirror image of her, right down to the black patch over her eye.
